Innovation in Communication for Equity
The AFETO consultancy arises from a partnership between four women Brazilian women who lead companies aware of the importance of racial and gender equity and who, based on their experiences, came together to impact the institutional communication market, contributing to the real meaning of the term "affection".
Affecting and allowing oneself to be affected and affected is a basic principle for the establishment of balance and justice, for the deconstruction of the structure of social privileges, through sensitive listening and dialogue.
Based on the premises of Educomunicação , our objective is to empower teams that work in the areas of communication, marketing and advertising with a focus on innovation and social transformation.
Our experience and insights collaborate to transform, modernize, and make the organization's internal and external communication production process more effective and coherent, influencing decisions and impacting relationships.
Our commitment is to an egalitarian, fair future in which the representation is of all, all and all that make Brazil a country mostly self-declared female and black.

Who we are

ANA PAULA
PAULINO
Businesswoman and cultural producer, Bachelor in Public Relations from UFMG, she is a partner at Ubuntu Produções along with her sister Isaura Paulino. In addition to the areas of cultural management, career planning, representation and artistic agency, Ubuntu Produções is also a publishing/recording company, focusing on black and/or peripheral artists (MC Carol, Abronca, Baby Perigosa and, until 2019, with the collective Heavy Baile and Jessica Ellen). She also works as a curator, director, activist and speaker.

MARIANA SIERRA
Audiovisual producer for marketing and advertising, specializing in Human Rights at PUCRS, has been working for 10 years in coordinating video areas within companies. She led the video areas of VICE and the SunsetDDB agency and is a consultant for the consolidation of commercial video processes, having as her last clients the Tracy Locke agency and Catraca Livre. It carries out audiovisual productions and partnerships for project development through its production company Gataria Filmes.

Gabriela

Graduated in journalism from PUC-Rio, she has been working since 2009 as a communicator, press advisor, curator and cultural producer. He has experience in several languages such as audiovisual, theater, dance, visual and integrated arts, in their face-to-face and virtual formats. Highlight for the works “Antonio Meneses – The camera and the cello” (TV Brasil, 2010), “A Outra Cidade” (by Pedro Brício, CCBB Rio, 2013) and “Funk Brasil – 40 years of dance” (by Pedro Monteiro , 2014/2015). Currently, she is also a collaborator of the Terra Verde Institute, which works to guarantee the rights and value the culture of native Brazilian peoples.

PRANDINI
Educommunicator, Researcher, Writer and Intersectional Anti-Racist and Feminist Activist
Co-Founder and Director of AfroeducAÇÃO.
Doctoral student in Communication Sciences - USP, with research on the impacts of whiteness in education.
Author of several books, among them, "The color in the voice: ethnic-racial identity, educommunication and life stories"; "Carolinas"; and "Cruz e Sousa".
